Wolves striker Adam Armstrong spent Sunday night out with five former and current Wrexham players, according to ExpressAndStar.com.
The 29-year-old has scored one in 13 outings since joining from Southampton for around 27 million.
He was pictured at an end-of-season gathering with Altrincham winger Anthony Forde, a Wolves academy graduate who later helped Wrexham to back-to-back promotions. Also present were former Red Dragons defender Eoghan O'Connell, plus Elliot Lee, Andy Cannon and Tom O'Connor.
The group met for drinks on Sunday while Wrexham's first team held a black-tie end-of-season gala at the four-star Carden Park resort in Cheshire.
Lee had a productive loan at Doncaster Rovers in the second half of the campaign, and Cannon impressed during a five-month spell with Burton Albion. O'Connor has been sidelined since January, but made more than a dozen appearances for Peterborough United earlier in the season.
O'Connell was released by Wrexham early in the season, then joined League One Barnsley on a permanent deal in January.
The season ended for the five on Saturday, allowing them to switch off. Wrexham also narrowly missed out on a place in the play-offs for promotion to the Premier League.
Armstrong was due back at Compton for training today. Already relegated Wolves travel to Brighton on Saturday, seeking a first win in seven.
