Wolves ‘submit bid’ for Andre Luiz as Niko Sigur monitored, Lopez latest | OneFootball

According to ExpressAndStar.com, Wolves are said to have lodged a bid for Olympiacos winger Andre Luiz and are monitoring Canada international Niko Sigur.

The 24-year-old right winger joined in January, has 10 appearances and one assist, and is under contract until 2030. A £13.6m offer from an unnamed club was claimed earlier this summer, while Wolves are reported to have bid around £12m, with Olympiacos, owned by Nottingham Forest chief Evangelos Marinakis, said to want more.

Sigur, 22, plays in midfield or at right-back for Hadjuk Split in Croatia and impressed for Canada at the World Cup, with Canada boss Jesse Marsch previously calling his displays almost flawless. He is valued at around £2.5m, which would not break the bank for Cesar Peixoto’s side.

A permanent return to Celta Vigo for Wolves forward Fer Lopez appears unlikely after protracted talks. The 22-year-old spent last season on loan there and could feature in pre-season.

Mikel Arteta’s Premier League champions are touted to be eyeing Villa defender Ezri Konsa, 28, a key figure under Unai Emery.

Udinese midfielder Arthur Atta, 23, is said to be on Villa’s radar after a breakthrough Serie A season and has three years left on his deal. He has been linked with Everton and Fulham. Villa’s Amadou Onana sustained a devastating injury blow while playing for Belgium this week.
