Wolves are weighing up a new goalkeeper, West Brom have had a striker bid rejected, and Aston Villa are linked with a West Ham midfielder as transfer talk gathers pace.
Sky Sports Austria claims Wolves and Celtic are keen on Wolfsberger AC goalkeeper Nikolas Polster, valued at about £1.5m. Wolves look set to seek a new number one, with Jose Sa likely to leave and Sam Johnstone in place.
Reports in Türkiye suggest Sa remains on Besiktas' shortlist. Sa has previously been mentioned with Nottingham Forest and Saudi Arabia.
Joao Gomes will leave Wolves this summer, with Atletico Madrid reportedly opening talks over a £39m move after he turned down interest including Leeds. Liverpool are still said to be keen, so he could yet stay in the Premier League.
The Daily Record reports West Brom have had a seven-figure bid for Falkirk forward Barney Stewart rejected, and have made further offers. The Scotland under-21 striker scored 10 goals after a recall from a strong loan at Dunfermline.
Albion are weighing up a goalkeeper addition, with Sunderland's Anthony Patterson linked. A return for Alex Palmer has also been floated, either permanently or on loan, after his £5m exit around 18 months ago.
Albion are expected to confirm their released and retained list before Saturday's deadline.
Aston Villa are among clubs linked with West Ham midfielder Mateus Fernandes, according to reports, with Manchester United also interested.
Sky in Italy says Roma paid a £1.7m loan fee for Donyell Malen from Villa, with a £21.6m permanent move to follow.
