Both ITV and BBC Sport have star-studded line-ups for their commentary, presenter and pundit teams at the 2026 World Cup.
With 104 matches in the United States, Canada and Mexico, fans have been able to watch plenty of games on BBC television, while ITV Sport has shown a selection from its Brooklyn studio. The two broadcasters will share coverage of the final, which pits Spain against Argentina.
It is expected that Sam Matterface and Lee Dixon will provide ITV commentary from New York New Jersey stadium, while the studio team will likely consist of Mark Pougatch, Gary Neville, Ian Wright and Roy Keane. Meanwhile, BBC’s commentary pair could comprise Alan Shearer and Guy Mowbray, with Wayne Rooney, Joe Hart and Micah Richards in the studio. It is also possible that Cesar Azpilicueta features on BBC, due to his history in the Spain side.
