Callum Wright's stoppage-time strike gave Hibernian a 2-1 victory at Rangers at Ibrox, lifting them from 10th to seventh and leaving the hosts winless after two league matches.

Early on a penalty was awarded when Jason Kerr was fouled. VAR confirmed the spot kick, and Josh Campbell converted in the 12th minute.

Rangers pressed for a response and dominated the ball. Raphael Sallinger kept Hibs in front with a string of saves, including efforts from Cameron Devlin and Mohammed Diomande, as Rangers recorded 25 attempts and 75.6% possession.

After the restart Derek McInnes introduced Diomande, who quickly tested Sallinger from range. The visitors lost Youssef Chermiti to injury before the break, but Rangers' momentum continued through the second half.

Parity arrived via an own goal from Miguel Chaiwa (85.). Moments later, Sallinger denied Lawrence Shankland with a low header (88.).

Wright won it for Hibs in the third minute of stoppage time, drilling low from outside the box after Nathan Lowe led a fast break. Sallinger then preserved the points by tipping over Ryan Naderi's header in the fifth minute of stoppage time.

Sallinger finished with eight saves as Hibs weathered the late siege.

Next, Rangers host Jagiellonia in the Europa League. Hibs visit Shkëndija in the Conference League.
