Zidane ‘to begin’ as France head coach on one September | OneFootball

Zidane will start as France head coach on one September, with the date of his official unveiling still to be set.

According to L'Équipe, documents exchanged between the parties fix one September as the start date for contracts covering Zidane and his staff.

The third-place play-off against England in Miami this Saturday at 23:00 will bring Didier Deschamps’s tenure to a close.

France are scheduled to play four Nations League matches from late September to early October, beginning on 25 September in Türkiye and on 28 September in Belgium.

They then face Italy on two October, before meeting Belgium again on five October.
