The Juventus Men’s First Team’s trip to take on Bodo/Glimt in the League Phase of the Champions League was one filled with important milestones, with Kenan Yildiz making his 100th appearance for the Bianconeri away in Norway.
Kenan’s first game in our colours came just over two years ealier on 20 August, 2023, away to Udinese in a 3-0 win. Curiously, that day saw Andrea Cambiaso make his Bianconeri debut as well, and the two also shared the occasion of their 100th appearance with us. Yildiz, then, came on for the final few minutes in Udine.
Since then, his growth has been non-stop, and he has gifted us countless moments to remember.
If we are to attempt to count his contributions, he has scored 19 goals so far (11 in Serie A, two in the Italian Cup, two in the Champions League, one in the Italian Super Cup, and three in the Club World Cup).
He impressively also became the youngest-ever foreign goalscorer in the Club’s history, and our youngest-ever Champions League goalscorer - which he did on his debut, no less. Keeping with a trend, Kenan also found the net on his debuts in the Italian Cup and the Italian Super Cup. Beyond the goals, Yildiz has also hit double figures for assists.
Congratulations, Kenan! Here’s to many more memories together.
