On the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Gianni Infantino sparked a strong reaction in England after making a joke about British supporters. The FIFA President referenced the 2022 World Cup in Qatar as the countdown to the 2026 tournament continues.
"For the first time in history, not a single Brit was arrested during a World Cup. Just imagine, that's truly special," said the FIFA President.
