Achraf Hakimi and Joao Neves could make PSG squad for Newcastle Champions League match | OneFootball

According to L'Équipe, Achraf Hakimi and Joao Neves could both be named in PSG’s squad to face Newcastle on Wednesday at 21:00, the final round of the Champions League league phase.

Hakimi missed Friday’s 1-0 at Auxerre, having been rested after the Africa Cup of Nations. He has also spent a long spell out with an ankle issue. Recent indications around him were said to be positive.

Neves completed another training session and feels in good shape. He should make the squad, with a final decision due after Tuesday’s session.

Nuno Mendes, rested against Auxerre, is fit. Quentin Ndjantou, thigh, and Matveï Safonov, hand, are progressing, with the Russian likely to be available before the 18-year-old Frenchman.

Fabian Ruiz remains very doubtful with a knee problem. A probable XI listed: Chevalier, Hakimi or Zabarnyi, Marquinhos, captain, Pacho, Nuno Mendes, Zaïre-Emery, Vitinha, Mayulu, Kvaratskhelia, Dembélé, and Barcola or Doué.
