Al-Nassr rival Newcastle in pursuit of Brentford’s Yoane Wissa | OneFootball

As per a report from The BBC, Yoane Wissa (28) has returned to training with Brentford FC, but his future in West London looks far from settled.

The forward had attempted to force through a transfer to Newcastle United, in a move that would allow him to take part in the UEFA Champions League. However, as Manchester United learnt, Brentford are canny negotiators, and Newcastle have found their asking price too high.

Newcastle are not alone in their interest, and Neom SC and Tottenham Hotspur have also reportedly made contact with Brentford. However, all three may be beaten to the punch, as French media L’Équipe exclusively reports that Al-Nassr are looking to enter the fray.

The exact amount that Brentford are looking for has not been disclosed to L’Équipe, but Al-Nassr are reportedly ready to match the valuation and are currently discussing ways to convince the player to swap the Premier League for the Saudi Pro League.
