The NUFC legend including one player who stood out in the Newcastle 2 Nottingham Forest 0 match.

Newcastle United growing stronger and stronger as the match progressed and in the end, Forest fortunate to lose by only the two goals.

Senne Lammens (Manchester United) “The goalkeeper did the simple things very well on his debut. He made some good saves and commanded his penalty area in a much-needed win over Sunderland.”

Jurrien Timber (Arsenal) “Timber was solid defensively and a huge threat going forward against West Ham, as he showed by winning Arsenal’s penalty.”

Leny Yoro (Man Utd) “Played a huge part in a first clean sheet of the season and gave very little away. Man Utd look so much more secure when he’s in the side.”

Josh Acheampong (Chelsea) “Stunted Liverpool’s attack and performed maturely in a defence that was missing some key players. Just unfortunate that he picked up an injury.”

Marc Cucurella (Chelsea) “Kept Mohamed Salah quiet and showed his attacking threat once again with a brilliant cross for Estevao Willian’s winner.”

Declan Rice (Arsenal) “A great performance against his former club. He scored with a composed finish when it would have been easy to put the ball over the bar, as Eberechi Eze did with a similar chance earlier on.”

Moises Caicedo (Chelsea) “Is there anything he can’t do? Gave Chelsea the lead against Liverpool with an incredible goal and totally dominated the midfield.”

Bruno Guimaraes (Newcastle United) “A true captain’s performance. Opened the scoring against Nottingham Forest and then won the penalty that sealed the win.”

Mohammed Kudus (Tottenham Hotspur) “Leeds simply couldn’t stop Kudus as he scored the winner at Elland Road – his first goal for Spurs – after assisting Mathys Tel’s opener.”

Donyell Malen (Aston Villa) “Timed his runs to perfection and produced two ruthless finishes against Burnley as Villa continued their recent resurgence.”

Antoine Semenyo (AFC Bournemouth) “Scored an outstanding brace to continue his incredible start to the season. Semenyo has gone to another level for Bournemouth.”

Manager: Enzo Maresca (Chelsea) “His tactics were perfect to expose Liverpool’s gaps in midfield and defence. Maresca dealt with a number of absences to guide Chelsea to an excellent win against the champions.”
