André Miranda expected to finalise new FC Porto contract soon | OneFootball

André Miranda is closing in on a new FC Porto contract after emerging as a standout for the club’s B team.

According to O Jogo, Porto’s hierarchy are attentive to his rise and talks over a renewal are well advanced, with completion anticipated soon.

The winger signed his first professional deal on 26 November 2024. As he was 17 at the time, it could run for only three seasons, taking him through to 2027. Having turned 18 in September, he is ready to take another step at the club.

He began the campaign with the under-19s, recording nine games and four goals, before cementing a place in the B team’s starting XI. He has scored in his last two outings and added an assist.

Head coach Francesco Farioli has also taken note, naming Miranda on the bench for two Europa League matches against Viktoria Plzen and Rangers after being encouraged by his work in first-team training.
