Another Atlético Madrid star’s exit gets the ‘here we go’ | OneFootball

The busy summer being enjoyed by those in the boardroom at La Liga giants Atlético Madrid has over the last 24 hours continued.

This comes amid confirmation of another departure from Diego Simeone’s squad being on the verge of completion.

In Saturday, the Rojiblancos made official one high-profile exit, after Rodrigo De Paul agreed to take his talents to Major League Soccer, with Inter Miami.

And set to follow the Argentine out the Metropolitano doors in short order is fellow South American Samuel Lino.

The Atlético brass have for several days now been locked in advanced talks with ambitious Brazilian outfit Flamengo, over a deal for wide-man Lino.

And if the latest word stemming from the media this weekend is anything to go by, then an agreement now appears to have been struck.

As per a report from market insider Fabrizio Romano:

‘Samuel Lino to Flamengo, here we go! Verbal agreement in place with Atlético Madrid. Understand transfer fee will be €22m plus €2m add-ons.’
