Another twist in Raphinha saga as Barcelona winger faces reported legal action | OneFootball

The FC Barcelona forward Raphinha, who once again remained a key part of Hansi Flick’s team during the last season, is not going through an easy time currently, even as he plays in what could be the last World Cup of his career.

Physical problems have once again appeared at the worst possible time for the Blaugrana star. He was injured during Brazil’s second group stage game against Haiti, and is currently working very hard to return in time to help his team during the knock-out rounds of the competition.

Meanwhile, his future at Barcelona has also come under a lot of speculation, as he remains strongly linked with a move to the Saudi side Al-Hilal. This uncertainty about his future has also led to him being involved in some controversy.

It all started when a former Brazilian international, Vampeta, claimed in a media appearance that Raphinha was facing some financial problems, which can push him to Saudi Arabia.

Now, he is being involved in another controversy, as SPORT cites The Mamarazzis to claim that the footballer and his wife were interested in buying a mansion in Barcelona, and for this purpose, engaged an agency that acted as an intermediary. Ultimately, a deal was not reached, and the footballer decided not to get the mansion.

However, to their surprise, the agency later found that the couple had actually acquired the property, but did so by other means, to avoid paying any commissions to the agency. Apparently, the footballer did not have the required API for this transaction, and had also signed a document with the agency. As a result, the agency is expected to take legal action against him.

For now, this could prove to be another reason for Raphinha to move away from Barcelona, but hopefully, this would only prove to be paparazzi speculation, and the footballer would end up not being involved in any such matter.
