Arokodare set for Wolves exit as Trabzonspor lodge loan offer | OneFootball

According to ExpressAndStar.com, Wolves have received a loan offer from Trabzonspor for Tolu Arokodare, who is set to leave this summer.

The Nigerian striker joined last summer in a deal worth up to £24million and struggled to adapt, scoring six goals in 38 games, including three in the Premier League.

An agreement has not yet been reached, with talks ongoing between the clubs. The 25-year-old's representatives are involved. A loan is viewed as the most likely outcome, with Wolves unlikely to accept a significant loss or to receive a fee large enough to sell outright.

Arokodare reported back at Compton this week for pre-season training, despite the likelihood of a move during the window.

Last season, he was involved in a dressing-room bust-up with team-mate Mateus Mane after the 4-0 defeat at West Ham. He was the sole aggressor and received a heavy club fine. Staff and players were particularly angry during Rob Edwards’ spell in charge.
