Wolves striker Arokodare set for exit as Trabzonspor lodge loan bid | OneFootball

Tolu Arokodare is set to leave Wolves this summer after Trabzonspor submitted a loan offer, with talks under way. According to ExpressAndStar.com, the club from Türkiye want the Nigerian forward on a temporary deal.

The 25-year-old joined last summer for up to £24million but struggled to adapt, scoring six in 38 games, including three in the Premier League.

No agreement has been reached and his representatives are working on a move. A loan currently appears the likeliest outcome, with Wolves not expecting a fee large enough to sell and unwilling to take a significant loss only a year after signing him.

Arokodare has reported back at Compton this week for pre-season training despite the likelihood of a departure during the window.

Last season he was involved in a dressing-room bust-up with team-mate Mateus Mane after the 4-0 defeat at West Ham. He was the sole aggressor and received a heavy club fine, which angered staff and players during Rob Edwards’ spell in charge.
