Atlético Nacional have confirmed advanced negotiations with Boca over 23-year-old winger Marino Hinestroza, while noting other clubs are also in the mix.

"We have not closed the deal yet, but talks are very advanced with some clubs, including Boca," said club president Sebastián Arango to Wbeimar lo dice.

Boca are working to secure their first signing of the window and have been in discussions for several days, although nothing has been finalised.

Their initial bid of four million dollars plus one million in bonuses was rejected, and a higher second offer has since been submitted, with the figure undisclosed.

Santos are also pursuing Hinestroza, and the player has already said his goodbyes to Atlético Nacional. The Brazilian side are said to have tabled a higher proposal than Boca’s negotiators, led by Marcelo Delgado, though the player is understood to favour Boca. The coming hours could be decisive.
