Bafana Bafana defender Siyabonga Ngezana found the back of the net in a seven-goal thriller as FCSB beat Feyenoord 4-3 in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday night.
The former Kaizer Chiefs center-back rose the highest to head the Romanian giants into the lead 11 minutes from the first whistle in Bucharest.
Feyernoord turned the game around as Casper Tengstedt leveled matters in the 41st minute, before Quinten Timber made it 2-1 to the visitors on the stroke of half-time.
The Dutch side picked up from where they left off as Leo Sauer scored the third goal in the 51st minute, before Mihai Toma reduced the deficit for 3-2.
FCSB left it until late, with Mamadou Thiam restoring parity in the 87th minute, prior to Florin Tanase sending the home crowd into a delirium with a goal at the death.
As a result, Ngezana's side is currently in 27th place in the League Phase, having picked up six points from six Europa League matches this season.
Ngezana is now expected to report for camp in Pretoria as Hugo Broos' charges gear up for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Morocco.
