Roma has said goodbye to Tommaso Baldanzi, at least until the end of the season.
The Giallorossi club has officially announced his loan to Genoa.
The 2003-born player joins the team coached by Daniele De Rossi on loan with an option to buy set at €10 million.
The attacking midfielder arrived in the 2024 winter transfer window, specifically sought by DDR to strengthen his then-Roma squad.
Over two seasons in the capital, Baldanzi made 69 appearances and scored three goals.
This is Roma’s statement on Baldanzi’s loan to Genoa: “AS Roma announces that it has reached an agreement with Genoa CFC for the transfer of Tommaso Baldanzi. The deal concludes on a loan with an option to buy. Having arrived in the 2024 winter transfer window, Baldanzi has made 69 appearances and scored three goals for the Giallorossi. Good luck, Tommaso!”
Baldanzi also said goodbye to the Giallorossi club on his social media: “Thank you, Roma, for this journey together; it’s been wonderful. I will always be one of you, and I hope this second half of the season will be exciting and full of satisfaction for all of you.”
