According to a recent report from Fichajes, Barcelona have received a staggering €75 million offer from Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich for midfielder Dani Olmo

The proposal has caught attention at Camp Nou, as it represents not only a significant financial figure but also a potential turning point in the club’s transfer planning.

Bayern Munich have reportedly been monitoring Olmo for several months, impressed by his versatility and technical quality in attack.

The Bavarian club view the Spaniard as an ideal fit for their system, particularly since he already has Bundesliga experience from his successful spell with RB Leipzig.

That familiarity would make his adaptation to Thomas Tuchel’s side far smoother compared to other foreign signings.

For Barcelona, the €75 million offer on the table is substantial and could spark a complex negotiation in the coming months.

Struggling to make an impact

Olmo remains under contract with the Catalan club until 2030, but his current season has been far from ideal

After an encouraging debut campaign under Hansi Flick, the 2025/26 season has seen him struggle for rhythm due to recurring injury setbacks.

Compounding his difficulties has been the rise of youngster Fermin Lopez, who has seized his opportunities and become a regular feature in Flick’s preferred starting eleven.

Sources within the club suggest that any major transfer decisions in the 2026 summer window will depend heavily on financial restructuring and the need to refresh the attacking options.

Given these circumstances, Olmo’s name is one of the most discussed internally as a possible departure to generate funds.

Bayern’s €75 million bid explains the seriousness of their pursuit, and insiders claim that if Olmo’s form fails to recover, the club could be open to negotiations.

Crucial decision awaits

The Spaniard now finds himself at a crucial juncture in his career.

At 27, the Spaniard must decide whether to fight for his place in Barcelona’s project under Flick or seek a new challenge in Munich, where he could once again play a central role.

With both clubs evaluating their summer plans, his future promises to be one of the biggest transfer stories to watch in 2026.
