Barcelona star Gavi reassures fans after surgery with powerful statement | OneFootball

The FC Barcelona midfielder Gavi is going through quite a difficult time. The Spaniard has been unable to play for some weeks because of a physical problem that initially did not look too serious, but which now is set to keep him out of action for 4-5 months after he underwent surgery.

The midfielder is still in the hospital after his surgery, but as Mundo Deportivo has reported, Gavi still remains highly optimistic about the future despite the negative turn that affairs have taken.

The Spaniard was visited by his teammates, Pedri, Ronald Araujo, and Lamine Yamal in the hospital, and after that, he took to social media to publish an image of him lying on the bed, surrounded by these teammates. This image was accompanied by the following message:

“Those of you who know me know that I will come back as many times as necessary to defend Barça and my people until the end.

‘A true champion is not forged in moments of success, but in those when they rise after falling.’

Thank you all for the messages of support and affection!”

It is definitely good to see Gavi remaining in high spirits after such a traumatic setback. Hopefully, he will get the required rest and then start working on his recovery to return to availability as soon as possible, and once again help Barcelona win some titles this season.
