FC Barcelona remains home to some of the most valued and impressive players in world football, such as Lamine Yamal and Pedri. After a dominant domestic season, the Catalan giants now look ahead to competing next season as well. Fortunately, a season like the one Barcelona just had tends to have some benefits as well.
Beyond just the major titles that were won, the Catalan club saw the values and confidence of their players go up as well. Moreover, it tends to bring in a lot of financial benefits in regards to prize money as well, which is something that Barça’s fragile financial situation really needed.
Now, beyond just the club season, players like Lamine Yamal have been impressive for their National teams as well. While he failed to win the UEFA Nations League in the final against Portugal, the 17-year-old winger was still phenomenal against France in the semi-final of the same competition.
As a result of his impressive performances this season, his transfer valuation has gone up as well. Recently shared by Barca Times, the official Transfermarkt website has now updated Lamine Yamal’s valuation and it has gone up €20 million to now reach an all-time high of €200 million for him.

This now makes him the single most valuable player in the world according to Transfermarkt, and it seems fitting. After all, at 17 years old, the Barcelona star has established himself as the standard of all comparisons and continues to be compared to all of the world’s best players.
Across La Liga, the Copa del Rey, Spanish Super Cup, the UEFA Champions League, and even during this UEFA Nations League campaign, Yamal was simply on another level. Given his consistency, young age, and quality of displays, simply no one would argue that he deserves to be where he is.
