A member of the attacking ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona is leading all players in Europe’s top five leagues when it comes to chance creation this season.

The player in question? Raphinha.

Wide-man Raphinha is of course in the midst of nothing short of a spectacular campaign to date with Barcelona.

After finding the net once more en route to the Blaugrana’s 4-1 downing of Sevilla last weekend, the Brazilian took his tally to a hefty 39 direct goal contributions across all competitions.

And whilst it has been Raphinha’s endeavours in front of goal which have taken the majority of the headlines owing to his 24-goal haul, the former Leeds United man’s creative exploits should also be taken note of.

As revealed by statisticians StatMuse, Raphinha has created a whopping 69 chances in La Liga in 2024/25.

This is more than any other player in the continent’s top leagues, with Chelsea standout Cole Palmer sitting 2nd, five chances behind.
