Barcelona star’s wife responds to claims of refusal to play in UCL fixture | OneFootball

The wife of Barcelona star Andreas Christensen has taken to social media, to hit back at recent claims in the media regarding her husband.

The name of defender Christensen took its place centre stage in the media headlines across Spain earlier this week.

As much came after it was claimed that the Danish international had at the last moment refused to enter the pitch as a substitute during last season’s Champions League semi-final tie between Barcelona and Inter Milan.

The news sent shockwaves across the Barcelona fanbase, with many having been quick to make known their disillusionment with Christensen’s behaviour.

On Friday, the partner of the former Chelsea man therefore felt it necessary to jump to his defence.

Taking to the comments section of an Instagram post relaying the story, Katrine Friis Christensen made crystal clear her take that the report was simply fabricated:
