According to a recent report by journalist Tomasz Włodarczyk, Robert Lewandowski is fully committed to staying at Barcelona for the upcoming season and has no intention of leaving the club this summer.
The Polish striker, who is entering the final year of his contract, remains focused on fulfilling his commitment to Barça and preparing for another campaign under new manager Hansi Flick.
The information was confirmed by Włodarczyk, a journalist closely connected to Lewandowski’s entourage.
“Lewandowski has no intention of leaving Barcelona. He is happy and ready for the new season, eager to complete the final year of his contract. And then? Of course, there will be offers from the Saudi Professional League,” he wrote.

While clubs from the Saudi Pro League have already shown interest in previous transfer windows, the 36-year-old has made it clear that any future decision will come only after completing his current deal.
When that time comes, a lucrative offer from Saudi Arabia may be more likely, given the striker’s age and market value beyond Europe.
For now, despite being the highest earner at the club, there is no indication that Lewandowski is being pushed out.
It is said that Barça’s sporting management is primarily monitoring the market for potential departures of non-starters, and Lewandowski, despite a more mixed 2024/25 campaign, is still viewed as a key part of the squad.
As things stand, Lewandowski’s focus is to stay fit, contribute under Hansi Flick, and honour his contract. Any transfer talk, especially involving Saudi Arabia, will have to wait until 2026 when his contract officially expires.
