Barcelona’s search for a long-term solution in the centre-forward position continues to intensify, with the club actively scanning the market ahead of the summer window.

While Julian Alvarez remains the standout priority, another emerging name has entered the shortlist – Fisnik Asllani.

The Hoffenheim striker is not yet a household name, but his recent actions have caught the attention of Barcelona fans, sparking intrigue about a potential future move to Camp Nou.

What did he do?

What initially seemed like a routine social media post turned into a talking point.

Asllani shared a series of images on Instagram titled “The month of Ramadan in pictures”, offering a glimpse into his daily life during the holy month.

However, one particular image stood out and rapidly gained traction among the Barcelona faithful.

In that snapshot, the young striker is seen playing Fortnite, but what truly grabbed attention was the smaller screen in the background, where a match between Barcelona and Newcastle United was playing.

Naturally, fans began to speculate – was this simply a casual moment from a football enthusiast, or a subtle nod towards a dream move?

In today’s transfer landscape, where every detail is analysed, such moments rarely pass without interpretation.

Would love to play for Barcelona

Adding further weight to the speculation are Asllani’s own words from a previous interview.

Speaking back in October, he openly admitted his admiration for Barcelona.

“The club of my dreams has always been FC Barcelona. I have always wanted to play there. It’s important to have dreams and work hard to achieve them.”

This statement, combined with his recent social media activity, has only strengthened the story that the striker could be open to a move if the opportunity arises.
