An insight into the plans of the board at La Liga giants Barcelona for the club’s current crop of loan players has on Monday been provided.
The info comes courtesy of Diario Sport, and points towards Deco and co. being ready to push for permanent exits.
Barcelona sent a quartet of first-team players out on loan last summer, namely Clément Lenglet, Oriol Romeu, Álex Valle, and Vitor Roque.
The latter has since returned to his home country of Brazil on a permanent basis, but the other three, as things stand, are due to return to base in Catalunya in the summer.
So, what are the plans of the Blaugrana brass for the trio? As per Sport, the hope is that permanent buyers will be found.
In the case of Lenglet, Atlético Madrid remain keen on his incorporation on a permanent basis, albeit whilst relucant to meet Barca’s asking price.
Romeu’s future is more unclear, with his hit-and-miss campaign back on the books of Girona meaning interest in the midfielder’s services has dropped. He could be farmed out on another loan for 2025/26.
Lastly, in the case of Valle, Cesc Fàbregas is eager to keep the young left-back at Como, with Barcelona ready to sanction a sale in the case of their financial demands being met.
