Ernesto Valverde is aiming to have Vivian, Berchiche and Sancet back for Sunday’s trip to the Carlos Tartiere in Oviedo. Berchiche only suffered a muscle overload scare against Levante.

Berenguer remains out of the group, while Prados has started running outside. The starters from the Copa derby with Real Sociedad trained indoors.

The two Simóns worked side by side in goal under the supervision of Iru on Pitch 7.

García, from the same Navarre town as reserve winger Gift, is the son of former goalkeeper Mario García, who played for Real Zaragoza alongside Cedrún and Sánchez Broto, then for Nástic and CD Badajoz. He is regarded as one of the academy’s standout prospects with professional potential.

Recruited from CD Tudelano, an Athletic partner club, in 20-21 for the Infantil side, he has risen to the second reserve team coached by former goalkeeper Armando Ribeiro, and has appeared across Spain’s youth selections.
