Newcastle are set to sign Hoffenheim’s Bazoumana Touré for €50 million on a five-year contract, The Telegraph reports. The 20-year-old Ivory Coast international operates as a wing-back or winger.
Touré impressed in 2025-26, making 32 appearances with five goals and nine assists. Hoffenheim finished fifth in the Bundesliga and qualified for the Europa League.
He featured at the World Cup, starting the 1-0 win over Ecuador. He also came off the bench against Curaçao, a 2-0 victory, and Norway, a 1-2 defeat.
The move would represent Hoffenheim’s record sale, overtaking Joelinton’s switch to Newcastle in 2019 for €43.5 million.
Newcastle’s window remains active, with French goalkeeper Ewen Jouen arriving from Reims for €28.5 million and Anthony Gordon departing to Barcelona for close to €80 million.
In England he will face Malo Gusto again, having met him in a warm-up before the World Cup.
