Ansu Fati continues to insist on staying at FC Barcelona even though he is clearly no longer a part of Hansi Flick’s plans at the club.
Since returning from his latest muscle injury at the start of December, the academy graduate has played just 28 minutes in a Copa del Rey match against Barbastro.
In the last ten games he has been available for selection, Ansu has been omitted from the matchday squad on six occasions.
Despite this bleak outlook for the No. 10, who is behind the regular attacking trio of Robert Lewandowski, Lamine Yamal, and Raphinha and even the likes of Ferran Torres, Pau Víctor, and even Dani Olmo, whom Flick deployed as a false nine, Ansu remains steadfast.
According to SPORT, Ansu is not considering an exit, despite the fact that his representatives, led by agent Jorge Mendes, have already agreed with Deco to try and convince the player that seeking an exit may be the best option for everyone involved.
Ansu’s departure would provide the financial relief that Barcelona need to strengthen their squad during this winter window with the signing of Marcus Rashford.

Given the current situation, several clubs are keeping tabs on Ansu Fati, with clubs from Turkey in particular showing strong interest in acquiring his services.
Jose Mourinho’s Fenerbahçe, who had previously shown interest in monitoring the player’s situation, are not the only Turkish club keen on the Barcelona forward.
Now, Besiktas are also pursuing the possibility of signing Ansu on loan.
Currently, Besiktas are in sixth place in the Turkish Super League with 32 points, just four points behind the positions that grant access to European competition via the Conference League.
However, the possibility of winning the league title, or qualifying for the Champions League or Europa League, appears highly unlikely at this stage for the team managed by former Manchester United coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
As such, they are eager to strengthen their squad in January and make a push for a higher finish in the league, with Ansu’s name now appearing on their radars.
