Sonia Bompastor confirmed Aggie Beever-Jones and Keira Walsh could start against Manchester City this weekend.
The pair have trained with the squad this week and are “ready to perform on Sunday”, Bompastor said.
Beever-Jones in particular will be a key addition to Chelsea’s front line, as the Blues aim to close the gap on City, who sit nine points clear at the top of the table.
The 22-year-old will be expected to provide a big threat in front of goal, having scored four goals in just nine league starts this season.
The Blues boss had more positive injury news ahead of the WSL clash, with no new players out of action. Bompastor said: “We have the same squad as we had available for last weekend against Arsenal.”
Looking ahead to the match, Bompastor admitted her side will have to be at their best if they want to get a result. She said: “Going to Manchester City is a tough game anyway… We will have to be really strong defensively not to concede against a team who are in good form.”
