Lauren James took part in England training ahead of the final of the European Championship.
James was taken off during the semi-final win over Italy with an ankle injury.
But the Chelsea star was seen training with her team-mates ahead of the clash with Spain in a boost for Sarina Wiegman’s side.
Speaking on Friday, Lionesses boss Wiegman said she was unsure whether James would be fit enough to play in the final.
“She is still recovering,” Wiegman said about James’ fitness. “She is doing things on the pitch and we have two more days so we are going to give it a try.
“I don’t know yet [if she will be ready] but that’s what we are going to go for – 23 players available for the game on Sunday.”
The 23-year-old’s fitness was a concern coming into the competition, having only recently recovered from a hamstring injury.
But she has played a key role in helping her side reach the final, scoring two goals this tournament, both in England’s 4-0 thrashing of the Netherlands in the second group game.
The Lionesses take on Spain on Sunday looking to win back-to-back Euros titles.
