Newcastle v Bradford tickets have rapidly sold out to Bradford fans, the entire away allocation.
Monday morning seeing Bradford season ticket holders snapping up the remaining tickets from their 4,899 away allocation for the match which is in 16 days time.
Meanwhile, Newcastle v Bradford tickets went on ‘sale’ to NUFC fans on Monday, via a ballot initially.
That ballot opened at 12 noon today (8 September 2025) and closes at noon on Tuesday.
Only Newcastle United members can enter, including those season tickets holders who haven’t chosen to automatically get all home Carabao Cup tickets.
The fact that Bradford season ticket holders have swiftly bought up all their allocation is a double disappointment.
Bradford fans who aren’t season ticket holders now having zero chance of being able to buy tickets for this third round match, Newcastle United members disappointed there won’t be any unsold tickets getting returned by Bradford.
In the Carabao Cup, away sides are entitled to 10% of capacity (15% in FA Cup matches). Although sometimes the relevant authorities and clubs themselves, can decide to not give as many as the competition rules point to.
Whilst 10% of the St James’ Park capacity would equal 5,200+ Newcastle v Bradford tickets, issues with segregation and home and away fans needing to use different exits, has meant this kind of slightly lower ticket total for away fans has been applied at SJP.
The Newcastle v Bradford tickets are priced £20 and £10 concessions.
