Anoeta erupted as Real Sociedad walked out to the Txuri-Urdin, Bultzada unveiling a vast history-themed tifo. According to Diario Vasco, it honoured the past while urging the team to keep writing new chapters.
The banner dropped from the second tier, styled as vintage film reels with the words “Milaka istorio ezagutuz, une ahaztezinak bihurtu” across the lower stand.
The five frames began with Club Ciclista San Sebastián, founded in 1908, the starting XI posed on Ondarreta beach. Then came the first official title under the Club Ciclista name, players in suits showing the trophy beside a crest marked 1909.
The third image returned to 1987 at La Romareda, where La Real lifted a second Copa del Rey, with Toshack and Gajate parading the cup. The fourth recreated 4 April 2021 in Seville as Oyarzabal and Illarramendi raised the trophy at La Cartuja with team-mates celebrating.
The final frame recalled the mass trip to Logroño, when 4,000 supporters filled Las Gaunas, and pictured three Bultzada members in Zubieta’s Z2 at the last training before the La Cartuja final.
The Aitor Zabaleta Harmaila added around 1,500 small flags across six sections of the end, all but the two corners, alongside the usual large banners. Previous efforts centred flags, and a similar show appeared in the first leg at San Mamés with a banner reading “Ametsak bizirik dirau”. With the ceremony done, it was over to the players and Anoeta.
