Brazil will unveil Carlo Ancelotti’s 26-player squad for the 2026 World Cup on Monday night in Rio de Janeiro, with a concert and a helicopter arrival.
The ceremony is set for the Museum of Tomorrow, Museu do Amanhã. ESPN reports that more than 1,000 people are expected, with media from at least 13 countries accredited, including Argentina, England, Spain, El Salvador and Bangladesh.
The Brazilian Football Confederation has billed it as the biggest squad reveal yet, with performances from Ludmilla, Joao Gomes, Samuel Rosa and Veigh. They will perform the national team’s official song for this World Cup, "Bate no Peito", by DJ and producer Papatinho with Zeca Pagodinho. All performers have donated their fees to a charitable project the federation launches the same day.
The list is due around 17:40 local time, 22:40 in France, followed by a press conference. The 66-year-old head coach, recently extended to 2030, will then fly by helicopter to TV Globo to appear on Jornal Nacional.
Brazil open Group C against Morocco on 14 June at 00:00, then face Haiti on 20 June at 02:30 and Scotland on 25 June at 00:00.
