Trailing 1-0 at the break, a quick-fire brace from Youssef Chermiti turned the game on its head before on-loan Tottenham forward Mikey Moore added a third to move Rangers level on points with their bitter rivals and three behind leaders Hearts.

As for Celtic, the pressure increases on manager Wilfried Nancy following a second half collapse at Parkhead.

It is now six defeats in his first eight matches in charge and Nancy can expect to field more questions about his future, with Celtic supporters also directing their anger towards the board.

A breathless first half brought about a stunning goal to break the deadlock as Yang Hyun-Jun picked up the ball roughly 35 yards out and weaved his way into the box before smashing an effort into the top corner.

The goal was no more than Celtic deserved. The only surprise was that they did not extend their lead further before the interval.

Jack Butland made a superb save from Johnny Kenny, moments before the opening goal, and denied the Celtic striker again while Auston Trusty hit the post from a corner and Yang had a header cleared off the line.

Rangers did have their moments in the first half as Djeidi Gassama had an effort saved by Kasper Schmeichel and Mikey Moore, on loan from Tottenham, had a goal correctly ruled out for offside on the stroke of half-time.

Celtic were made to pay the ultimate price for those missed chances as five minutes into the second half, Chermiti equalised with a simple tap-in after superb play down the right-hand side by Nicolas Raskin.

Nine minutes later, Chermiti scored again as he took advantage of some really poor defending from Auston Trusty to bend the ball around Schmeichel to complete the turnaround.

Moore then completed a dream afternoon for Rangers, picking up a pass from Gassama and drilling a shot past Schmeichel and into the far corner of the net.

This prompted Celtic fans to react in anger as "sack the board" chants resurfaced while many others left before the final whistle which allowed just over 2,000 Gers fans to celebrate a victory that looked unlikely at half-time.
