RB Leipzig winger Antonio Nusa has singled out Celtic Park as the most memorable ground he has experienced in his career so far…

The Norway international featured for 68 minutes in front of a capacity crowd at Celtic Park in 2024, as Brendan Rodgers’ side secured an impressive 3-1 victory in the Champions League – which feels like a lifetime ago.

It proved to be one of Celtic’s standout European displays in recent years, with Nicolas Kuhn netting twice before Reo Hatate added a second-half goal to seal the win.

The electric atmosphere left a lasting impression on Nusa, who still recalls the occasion vividly.

Speaking during a quickfire Q&A with FotMob, the 20-year-old was asked to name his favourite stadium and said: “Celtic Park, actually. It was not normal. Like, really, really loud.”

Nusa completed a £17 million switch from Club Brugge in August 2021, having previously been heavily linked with a move to Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham.

The 20-year-old has continued to attract attention with his performances this season, with reports last month suggesting Barcelona are monitoring his progress, while Leipzig are believed to value him at around £60 million.

In other news, Neil Lennon has challenged the idea that Celtic are out of the title race with seven matches remaining.

Speaking via Simon Donnelly and Jackie McNamara’s Not Another Football Podcast, Lennon said: “I think Hearts, where they are is amazing, you know. Maybe it’s a black mark against the big two that normally dominate the scene.”

“I think they’ve both been poor by their own standards, particularly Celtic, but I still think it’s up for grabs.”

“I remember 2005 we were five clear going into the split and we lost it on the last day. So anything can happen. But Celtic need to defend, you know, there’s no consistency.”
