Celtic confirmed that their allocation is 7,919 tickets and for the second trip to Ibrox on consecutive Sundays.

Then they state:

“Tickets for this match are available amongst Season Ticket holders who have attended the previous rounds of the competition, including the Scottish Cup Round 4 away tie vs. Auchinleck Talbot.”

So you have to be a season ticket holder who attended both the match at Rugby Park against Auchinleck Talbot and also the cup-tie at Celtic Park against Dundee in the next round, that match of course being the game that was affected by the boycott called for by the Celtic Fans Collective.

Celtic do NOT make it clear if it’s attendance or purchase of the match ticket as many supporters who boycotted the game had already paid via the Home Cup Ticket Scheme which mysteriously has now an away element given the criteria on going to an away game against Auchinleck Talbot suddenly being a factor.

The wording here though is cunning as it doesn’t mention the boycott but looks to punish the boycotters IF ‘attended’ means going through the turnstile to activate your season ticket.

Tickets are available online only via the official Celtic FC website and are priced at £53 for adults and £43 for Under 16s and there’s a £1.50 booking fee per ticket on top.

Match tickets are subject to availability and the deadline for eligible Season Ticket holders to purchase tickets for this match is 2pm on Monday, 2 March.

If you are a season ticket holder and NOT on the HCTS but did go along to the Auchinleck Talbot (A) and Dundee (H) matches in the earlier round then congratulations because not being on the wholly unfair HCTS hasn’t cost you and you will be able to buy your tickets.

So there’s an Away Cup Ticket Scheme! Who knew!

Is there such a thing as an ACTS? Seems like the Celtic Ticket Office has invented one to suit their own purposes!

If you are a season ticket holder and are on the HCTS and attended the HOME game against Dundee resisting the temptation to boycott to support the team then as is usually the case with the Celtic ticket office, you have been shafted, probably not for the first time.

If you are a season ticket holder and were at the game at Rugby Park, paid for the ticket against Dundee but boycotted the game to do your bit for a better version of Celtic to emerge then they’ve gotcha – without even a single reference to the boycott. So clever it’s almost devilishly evil but you have to admire their cunning plan to hit back at the boycotters!

If you aren’t a season ticket holder the way things are going that waiting list is going to see many new faces at the stadium next season.
