Domestically it’s looking rather splendid for Celtic, as indeed it has done for the majority of this century as the club enjoys a period of domination that has never been seen before in Scottish football. Indeed that League Cup win over theRangers in mid December meant that Celtic reached 119 major trophies won, overtaking the combined total of 118 that the two Rangers clubs won combined, the original Rangers FC which went out of business in 2012 and the Phoenix club successor founded by Charles Green later that year and beginning live on the lowest tier of Scottish football.
The Scottish Cup Final is an event that football fans from all around the world look forward to every year. Last season the final, which is almost always held at Hampden Park, the home of Scottish football, was between Celtic and theRangers and it was the first ever meeting in. Scottish Cup Final between the two clubs who these days play in Glasgow Derbies rather than in the Old Firm matches that pitched Celtic against the now liquidated Rangers FC.

It was a dramatic affair despite the game looking like it was going to end goalless. But Celtic never give up and two substitutes send on by Brendan Rodgers to win the match combined to do just that. Portuguese midfielder Paulo Bernardo burst forward from the centre of the park and hired a hard shot towards Jack Butland in theRangers goal.
The English goalkeeper couldn’t hold the shot and the ball was spilled straight into the onrushing and onside Irish striker Adam Idah who calmly stroked the ball below the frantically diving keeper to win the Scottish Cup for Celtic.

It was an incredible way to finish the season and that’s exactly what Celtic plan to do this year too.
The Scottish Premiership started on 3rd August, 2024 and ends on May 18, 2025. Celtic presently lead the table having played 23 games and collecting 60 points while theRangers in second place are ten points behind having played a game more.

There are 12 teams participating in the tournament this season, with matches taking place in 12 stadiums, with capacities ranging from 6,541 (Victoria Park) to 60,411 (Celtic Park). At the moment, the team that defends the championship is Celtic.
Since season 2011/12 Celtic have won the Scottish Premiership in every season excluding the Covid restricted year of 2020/21 when no supporters were permitted to attend matches due to the global pandemic. In short Celtic were lost without the backing of their incredible supporters.

The Scottish Cup Final takes place six days after the Scottish Premiership ends and this year it’s on Saturday 24 May at Hampden Park.
Well before that, on 15 December 2024, this season’s League Cup Final was played and yet again it was a Glasgow Derby between Celtic and theRangers. In a dramatic match that ended 3-3 AET, a penalty shoot-out was needed to determine who would collect the cup and celebrate. Celtic scored all five of their penalties and Kasper Schmeichel was the big hero making a save to win the cup for Celtic.

While it’s unimportant to Celtic supporters as they don’t buy into the nonsense that Charles Green could buy the honours of the old club as he claimed repeatedly in 2012, the fact that the Celtic victory in this competition took the club’s total of honours won to 119 – more than the combined total of the two Rangers clubs. That kind of thing matters in Glasgow, and the Celtic players certainly got the significance as this photograph of some of the players at a darts event in London demonstrates.

The Ibrox club had awarded themselves the accolade of being ‘them most successful club in the world’, now even by their own rules they aren’t even the most successful club in Glasgow. Celtic supporters incidentally have no claim on that accolade now that Celtic have overtaken the combined Rangers 118 trophy wins. That accolade, Celtic supporters believe belongs to Real Madrid for their brilliant record in the European Cup and Champions League.

So Brendan Rodgers’ team won the 119th trophy, and this has become the new record among all clubs. It is worth noting that in this aspect the separation between Celtic and theRangers combined is rather small – just one trophy but it could be three by 24 May!
Celtic are now first in the Scottish Premiership table and eighteenth in the Champions League group stages ahead of the final game against Aston Villa at Villa Park on Wednesday evening. By defeating Swiss Champions BSC Young Boys last Wednesday, Celtic earned a place in the play-off rounds.
Three wins, three draws and just one defeat has given Celtic 12 points and that is a significant improvement on the previous two seasons where Ange Postecoglou’s Celtic side ended up with two points from six games and Brendan Rodgers in his first season back got four points from six games.

Many football fans also closely monitor how the UEFA Champions League is taking place. On January, 22 Celtic fans celebrated the victory in the match with BSC Young Boys, because, as you probably know, the match ended 1:0 in Celtic’s favour. Thus, Celtic currently occupies the 18th place in the UEFA Champions League table.
But supporters do not have a chance to relax, they should keep going because the next match will be between Aston Villa and Celtic , and it promises to be an England v Scotland encounter and these are always exciting.
Trading stocks, currency pairs, cryptocurrency, and other assets is quite popular today, and there are a lot of insights for market traders that are worth learning. Many fans of sports, in particular football, are considering the option of investing in football clubs. It is only funny at first glance, but in fact, it is a serious step that requires analysis and weighing all for and against.

Celtic is one of the football clubs whose shares can be bought. The advantage of such a step for fans can be considered the fact that it will be much easier for them to intuitively predict the possible changes in the market, based on the events and news associated with the club that they support. The disadvantages include rather small liquidity of the market and high volatility, which represent pretty high risks. In addition, this market is often unpredictable.
There probably does not exist a definite answer to this question, because everyone who shows their interest in trading in general has their own opinion and attitude to its different types. However, it is no secret that Forex is precisely the trading market that is most popular among those who want to take part in trading. The main focus of Forex trading is trading currency pairs, but other options are also available, such as precious metals, natural resources, stocks, and others.
The main reasons why many choose Forex are the availability of this market, transparency of trade, high liquidity due to a huge number of participants, and a wide selection of currency pairs.

As a result, after the victory in the Scottish League Cup, Celtic have become the most titled team, and this is an amazing achievement. However, the Celtic fans are sure that this is only the beginning and this team is definitely not going to dwell on the achieved, so we are impatiently waiting for the upcoming matches and can’t wait to see if the Bhoys can get an away win at Villa Park.
