Toulouse will travel to Metz on Sunday at 17:15 still short, with Charlie Cresswell and Frank Magri sidelined and Cristian Casseres uncertain.

According to L'Équipe, Cresswell is continuing treatment after a hamstring injury suffered in the Coupe de France quarter-final against Marseille on 4 March. The tie finished 2-2 and 4-3 on penalties. Magri, out longer with a knee problem, must wait to return.

Head coach Carles Martinez Novell said Cresswell and Magri will not be available, adding he hopes to have them back after the international break. He said Cresswell’s recovery is on schedule and Magri has resumed individual work on the pitch this week.

Martinez Novell also noted young right-back Rafik Messali has entered the second phase of his reconditioning and will miss the trip because of an ankle injury.

The Haut-Garonne club are winless in six Ligue 1 matches, four defeats and two draws, and have dropped to 12th. Casseres was not at 100% across both games against Marseille and has minor pain, with his availability to be assessed for this weekend or the next.
