A Chelsea attacker has missed training today as fears emerge over a new injury issue within the Blues ranks.

They had been very much getting on top of their injury issues in recent times. However, this season and in the last couple of months, the injury issues have come back to haunt them.

Most people are putting it down to the fact that Chelsea didn’t really get a break over the summer and carried on playing football in the Club World Cup, which has a lot of controversy surrounding it with players being over-worked. Add in all the international breaks we keep having where top players go and represent their countries, it’s a fact that these guys are just playing too much football and are being forced to be over-worked and become fatigued as a result.

The latest player who may or may not be injured now is Pedro Neto.

As reported by The Daily Mail’s Kieran Gill, who is watching Chelsea’s open training session today ahead of their Champions League match with Qarabag tomorrow night, Pedro Neto is not training for Chelsea yet today.

And this will of course spark concerns of another injury to a key player for Chelsea. It may of course just be that he is perhaps unwell, or needs a longer rest. We can hope for the best case scenario here.

Crystal Palace are interested in signing Tyrique George in the January transfer window and if you ask me, I think they’ve got a decent chance of landing him this winter.
