Chelsea’s Sporting Directors have been nominated for the Globe Soccer Awards 2025 as well as 8 other nominations!

It looks like a really strong attack on the awards by Chelsea, but many Blues fans will be very surprised to see the Sporting Directors up for nomination, with most Chelsea fans being highly critical of their work so far at the club.

EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea in contact for player who reminds Gianfranco Zola of himself in his playing days!

Personally, I think Paul Winstanley and Laurence Stewart have done a lot of good deals and a lot of good things, but they’ve also made a lot of and many big mistakes. So really, they haven’t proven that they should be being voted up for any Sporting Director awards yet for me. But perhaps they haven’t also been quite as bad as some make them out to be.

Either way, for me they still have a lot to prove and are certainly not deserving of any award nominations yet.
