Chelsea are reportedly in talks with a Bundesliga clubs regarding a swap deal that would see two Chelsea players head to Germany.
The news comes off the back of Chelsea getting an essential three points on Saturday afternoon by beating Everton 1-0 at home after a fantastic first half goal from striker Nicolas Jackson ending his 2025 goal draught.
It was far from an easy game for Chelsea though, and goalkeeper Robert Sanchez became the unlikely hero and was actually the reason that they could see the win out and collect all three points, making some big second half saves to deny certain goals.
Another one of Chelsea’s best players on the pitch was defender Trevoh Chalobah and really, he was a strong candidate for man of the match too. Enzo Maresca defended Chelsea’s decision to let him go on loan in the summer after then recalling him in the winter.
In the meantime, Chelsea are planning for the summer transfer window and they are in talks with Dortmund apparently, regarding some sort of swap deal.

According to TEAMtalk today, Chelsea want to sign Dortmund winger Jamie Gittens before the Club World Cup and they are talking to Dortmund about a potentially swap deal involving Carney Chukwuemeka, who is currently on loan there, staying there on a permanent deal.
As well as Chukwuemeka, Chelsea are floating the idea of Jadon Sancho being involved in the deal as well once they sign him on a permanent deal at the end of this season, as is what is expected to happen still. So they would essentially buy him then sell him in the same window.
