Garnacho joined Chelsea last summer from Manchester United in a deal worth £40m, but has struggled to make an impact.

The 21-year-old has one goal in 20 Premier League appearances, and seven in 36 in all competitions, with four of his goals coming in the Carabao Cup.

Chelsea open to offers for Alejandro Garnacho

Garnacho wasn’t a popular signing with supporters, and he’s done little to change how he’s viewed, despite showing some glimpses.

The Argentine has been competing with Jamie Gittens for a spot on the left wing, and both summer signings have had really disappointing seasons.

Garnacho had attracted interest from Napoli before joining Chelsea, and it wouldn’t be a surprise if the Blues tried to move him on after just one season.

In fact, Phillips has reported via his Substack that Chelsea are open to offers for the Argentina international, and are hoping there will be an opportunity to sell him.

How much of a market there would be for Garnacho remains to be seen, but there’s more competition arriving this summer from Sporting Lisbon in Geovany Quenda.
