Gavi came through La Masia and went on to make his first appearance for the senior team in August 2021. As time passed, he continued to impress and made a name for himself. He is considered one of the brightest talents at present and a hard-working player.

Gavi has been in and out of the team this season due to multiple reasons. However, he scored two goals and provided three assists in 24 games. He is averaging 0.2 shots, 0.5 key passes, and 0.1 dribbles per game (stats via whoscored).

The Spanish midfielder is capable of operating at different positions in the midfield. He has an unorthodox way of playing, which makes him a unique personality. He works hard to contribute in both aspects of the game and maintains high intensity as long as he plays.

Gavi isn’t looking to leave Barcelona

Chelsea have grouped together a strong unit but they are still lacking some quality in the middle of the park. They need more bench strength and depth if they wish to fight for prestigious trophies. Hence, they have turned their focus towards Gavi.

Gavi has the ability to play in different positions and provide high work-rate in the midfield. He plays his heart out and can motivate his teammates to do the same. He is expected to get better and better if more experience.

Though Chelsea are ready to offer €60 million (£50m) to sign the 20-year-old, a move is unlikely to take place. Barcelona might not entertain any move for their valuable player. On the other hand, Gavi is enjoying his football in the Spanish outfit alongside his mates. He has no reason to leave Catalans and test himself at Stamford Bridge.
