In a recent report, Fichajes stated that Chelsea have received a massive offer for Andrey Santos. It has been revealed that the Blues have received a bid close to £60m from Al-Qadsiah of the Saudi league for the Brazilian talent.
Santos had an impressive loan spell at Strasbourg in the previous campaign when he produced a string of eye-catching displays for them at the centre of the park. The 21-year-old registered 11 goals and picked up six assists in 38 matches for the French outfit last season on all fronts.
The Brazilian talent deserves credit for averaging 1.45 shots per 90 minutes in Ligue 1. He kept 34.8% of his attempts on target. Santos was even tidy when distributing the ball from midfield after completing 88.2% of his attempted passes in league football (stats via fbref.com).
His current contract at Stamford Bridge will expire in the summer of 2030. Thus, the Blues are under no immediate pressure to cash in on him.

Santos can strike the ball with power and precision from long range. He has got the eye to play some decisive passes in the opponent’s half and is a good dribbler with the ball as well. The Brazilian youngster also works hard for his team on the defensive end of the field. He is primarily a box-to-box midfielder but can also play as a holding midfielder if told to do so by his manager.
At the moment, Santos is not a regular starter at Chelsea. However, he has the potential to be an important member of Enzo Maresca’s match-day squad this season.
At 21, the future looks quite bright for Santos as long as he continues to improve with each year. Therefore, the Blues should rather keep hold of the Brazilian midfield ace than let him go this month.
Santos is already good enough to help the Premier League giants compete across all competitions in the coming seasons. Plus, his value in the transfer market could skyrocket as he grows as a footballer over the next few years. All in all, Maresca should try to retain the Brazilian sensation’s services for the long run.
