Success continues for the Rojiblanca Academy, which wrapped up an outstanding Clausura 2026 regular season. Chivas Femenil Sub 19 secured its place in the postseason after a commanding 9-1 victory over Mazatlán.
The team also posted remarkable numbers, establishing itself as the top offensive side in the league with 41 goals scored, comfortably outperforming the rest of the competition.
Cecilia Cabrera’s squad entered the match needing a win to guarantee qualification, and they responded emphatically on the field, showing clinical finishing, character, and the attacking football that defined their regular season campaign.
This will mark the fifth consecutive playoff appearance for the Guadalajara side after a resilient tournament that concluded with 28 points, placing them fourth in Group 2.
In 6 of their 16 matches, the Rebaño scored three goals or more, producing several high-impact performances throughout the season. The campaign began with an exciting 3-3 draw against Tijuana; later came a 6-0 rout of León; a 5-1 victory over Rayadas; a 5-2 win against Atlas in the Clásico Tapatío; and two convincing triumphs over Mazatlán: 3-0 in Sinaloa and the recent 9-1 result.
With 8 wins, 4 draws, and 4 losses, Guadalajara closed the CL26 regular season in strong fashion, putting together a six-match unbeaten streak that kept the team near the top of its group.
As a result, Chivas Femenil Sub 19 also confirmed its Quarterfinal matchup, where it will face Pachuca at Malena Patiño on Wednesday, May 13 at 12:45 PM, carrying the dream of making history and reaching the Semifinals for the first time ever.
