Inter Milan will resume their Serie A title pursuit on Sunday when they face out-of-sorts Atalanta at the Gewiss Stadium.

Beating Atalanta would see Inter finish the calendar year at the top of the Serie A table.

Chivu’s charges spent Christmas at the summit after beating Genoa 2-1 in their last league outing.

However, Inter’s lead over second-placed AC Milan is fragile, with the Rossoneri languishing a point adrift of their bitter rivals.

Therefore, the Nerazzurri must win on Sunday.
