The second edition of the Club World Cup, in its new expanded 48-team format, is scheduled for 2029.
FIFA, world football's governing body, is expected to decide on the tournament's host nation in the coming weeks.
According to ESPN, Brazil has submitted its bid to host this flagship club competition.
The South American nation boasts a wealth of experience in staging major tournaments. In 2014, it welcomed the men's World Cup, and in 2027, it will host the FIFA Women's World Cup.
Africa will be represented at the 2029 Club World Cup by five teams, notably including Egypt's Pyramids FC, the reigning CAF Champions League winners.
