The Juventus Men’s First Team's last home game of 2025 ends with a superb victory. At the Allianz Stadium, the Bianconeri beat Roma 2-1 thanks to goals from Chico Conceicao and Lois Openda, while Tommaso Baldanzi scored for the Giallorossi.
The match began at a high intensity in Turin, with both teams playing openly but without giving too much away. The first chance fell to Khephren Thuram, who, following a pass from Openda, failed to hit the target from inside the penalty area. Ten minutes later, it was the Frenchman again, this time from distance, but his first-time shot was saved by Mile Svilar.
In the final moments of the first half, Chico Conceicao came alive, eager to make an impact. In the 43rd minute, he received the ball in the penalty area, skipped past an opponent, but failed to beat Svilar in what was a prelude to what was about to happen a minute later. In fact, just a few seconds later, Andrea Cambiaso came up with a delicate touch to thread a pass through to the number 7, who slotted home with his left foot to give the Bianconeri the lead at the end of the first half at the Allianz Stadium.
The second half began in the same way as the first had ended, with Luciano Spalletti's team on the attack in search of a goal. The Bianconeri created two great chances in the opening moments of the second half: first, Kenan Yildiz, after an excellent combination with Openda, shot with his left foot, grazing Svilar's left post. Then it was Cambiaso with a volley from the edge of the penalty area, forcing the visiting goalkeeper into a great save.
Twenty minutes from the end, Juventus scored their second goal. Edon Zhegrova played a pass in the penalty area for Weston McKennie, the American won a challenge and set up Openda who made it 2-0 with a tap-in. However, only five minutes later, Roma, with Baldanzi, reduced the deficit. Another four minutes passed and Yildiz came close to scoring on the counterattack, but his right-footed shot hit the far post with Svilar beaten. The end of the match was intense, and Spalletti's team secured the win against Roma.
